At the end of October we sent lots of apples to be juiced, and last week we got 887 bottles back! It tastes really good, a bit sweeter than last year.

The labels are now printed so the next time it rains (probably quite soon!) we will start labelling the bottles.

It hasn't been such a good year for apples due to the winter moth damage, but we have more apples to turn into apple juice!  We have been picking and sorting apples for the last few weeks and now they have gone off to be juiced.

Its been the month of the broad bean saga.

Three times badgers have got into the polytunnel at night and eaten the broad beans. Sadly today we arrived and the last few were eaten, and a hole in the polytunnel door!
