A busy day harvesting!

Yesterday we had a bumper harvest!

We picked climbing french beans, runner beans, tomatoes, courgettes, cucumbers, calabrese, squash and potatoes.

Over the summer the badgers have eaten most of our squash, but it seems they don't like Butternut squash and a few of the green varieties, so this is all that remains of our crop.

The field is very short of rain and so we were grateful for a couple of hours rain yesterday.

We mostly managed to stay dry in the polytunnel and sowed lots of seeds for the autumn crops.
