Snow and hardwood cuttings
We have had a varied couple of weeks, with only one "Snow Day".
On December 5th we had a visit from Dom at "Muddy Fork" (based in Retford) to look around our site and see what we are doing.
We have planted some new trees in the Fruitery (George Fox variety) and planted some hardwood cuttings of gooseberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants in one of our raised beds. We have also given the bird boxes another coat of paint, and painted wood preserver on our new window frame for the compost loo.
We have harvested Kohl Rabi, Parsley and Pak Choi. Two new raised beds have been made outside the polytunnel so we have more growing space to use in the Spring.
We are looking forward to warmer weather!
