Happy New Year - time to prune the blackcurrants and clean the polytunnel!

Today was cold (4 degrees) but sunny! We started pruning the blackcurrants, and finished one of the rows. We also washed half of the inside of the polytunnel. Hopefully tomorrow we will do the outside. Its amazing how much difference it makes. The polytunnel has lots of lettuce ( 3 varieties) growing, as well as pak choi, parsley, kohl rabi and broad beans. Outside the garlic is shooting up and we still have rhubarb chard, pak choi, kohl rabi and parsley.

Four of our Christmas trees were loaned out over Christmas, and in the Spring we will be repotting them all into bigger pots so they can grow bigger this year.
