Sunny and Cold

Last week was very cold on the field, but lovely and sunny.

We did lots of work in the Fruitery. We dug out some old redcurrant and whitecurrant bushes that had reached the end of their natural life. We also dismantled the windbreak fence around the tree nursery, as the young trees can now withstand the weather. We hope to plant some of the young trees in their permanent positions next week.
