Our first Blackcurrants

Yesterday we picked our first blackcurrants from the Fruitery. There were so many!

We also harvested some lettuce and lots more flowers.

We planted out some runner beans and weeded the bed with broad beans.

On Sunday Sheffield Organic Growers are having an Open Day from 11-4. Everyone is welcome to visit - its the busiest day of the year. All the Growers will be around and giving tours of the site, there will be a chance to pick your own blackcurrants and buy light lunches and cream teas. If you prefer to visit at a quieter (more normal!) time, please give us a ring.
