Thank goodness we have a polytunnel!
On Monday it rained almost all day, but we were nice and dry in our polytunnel.
Our first Cosmos flowers are out, and everything is growing well. We have tiny sweetcorn, lettuces, climbing french beans, carrots and a large number of tomato plants! We took side shoots off the tomatoes and planted them in two beds. As soon as the weather improves we will plant some of the remaining tomato plants outside. It will be a bit of an experiment to see which do better...
At the end of the day we had 20 minutes without rain and managed to plant a few potatoes up at the top of the field.
