Planting pear trees

This week we have planted two new pear trees, to replace ones which broke in a storm last year. It will be about 5 years before they have fruit! We have untangled a huge piece of mypex which was blown up and around some of the trees in the wind on Sunday.

We have weeded and planted wildflower seeds under some of the other fruit trees, and a white clover and yellow trefoil mix under some of the redcurrant and white currant bushes.
